1) Worm Drive Hose Clamps.
Universal Clips have been manufacturing worm drive hose clamps for over thirty years and manufacture a range of different designs from the standard fixed bridge clamp to the flip top or quick release type. They are internationally known and marketed under the “Universal”, “UC” or “Uniclips” Brands. Our re-usable hose clamps are made with 8mm and 12 mm bands widths with slotted hex head screws of various sizes. Our clamps are manufactured in full stainless steel or with stainless band and zinc plated housing and screw. The pierced band design allows for the screw thread to fully penetrate the band, increasing strength and reducing the risk of slipping or working loose. Our clamps are free from spot welding, improving resistance to corrosion.
They are extremely versatile and have many applications including abut not limited to: -
Automotive, Marine, Irrigation, Agriculture, Hardware, DIY, Industrial, Petro Chemical, Food, and Beverage, Mining, Fire and Emergency Services, Construction and Housing.
All our clamps are made to SABS and international standards. Various sizes and configurations are available on request. Our mini range has an 8mm band width and the standard product has a 12mm band width. We can pack to customers request or the clamps come standard in our distinctive yellow retail boxes. For larger volumes we can make or Brand to customer request.

2) T Bolt Clamps.
These clamps are 100% stainless steel including the band and the T bolt. They are used on heavier applications than the standard worm drive and on higher performance vehicles. They are also ideally suited to Industrial and marine applications.
The tangentially set bolt ensures an efficient transfer of torque to the clamp. The strong one piece stainless steel trunnion and stainless NYLOK nut, (to prevent loosening), allows socket or spanner application. The flanged tongue provides full 360 degree sealing pressure as well as protecting the hose from damage. The flange and clamp is welded for extra strength.
The V-Band versions of the T bolt clamp are available with various V- Band cross section options. These sections are spot welded inside the clamps which connect and seal flanged connections of hose fittings or pipe. Typically these products are utilised for turbo charger and Diesel Exhausts as well as Industrial equipment

3) Wire Clamps.
The spring steel wire clamps come in two versions - the WB bolted Clamp for higher pressure applications, and for lower pressure applications, the “WA” spring type clamp.
Bolted Wire Clamps (“WB”)
The bolted wire (WB) clamps are manufactured from spring steel wire with zinc plated bolt and nuts. They come in a large range of sizes with various wire and bolt sizes. These “Push – Pull” Clamps are ideal for automotive, agricultural and Industrial applications where higher pressure applications are required or on harder hoses.
The double strand wire construction provides a double action seal which ensures longer durability and higher resistance to “blow-off”. The finer thread and very small cross sectional area of the wire acting on the hose offers a higher pressure application than the standard worm drive hose clamp.

Self Tightening Spring Type Wire Hose Clamps. ("WA")
The Universal Self Tightening Spring hose clamps are manufactured from a tempered spring steel wire and zinc electroplated. The range is ideal for lower pressure applications where the hoses have soft walls or where a quick and simple application is required, in limited working space and a small operating range.
They are ideally used in the automotive and white goods industries. They are simply applied with pinchers or pliers.

4) Exhaust Clamps
Heavy Duty bolted Uniclamp.
The Uniclamp range of heavy duty bolted clamps that can be used on exhaust applications or any heavy duty clamping requirement. These are manufactured in either full 316 stainless steel or composite with 409 stainless steel band and standard zinc plated nut, set screw and trunnions. The simplistic, compact but yet highly effective design provides a quality cost effective solution for larger clamping applications. There is no welding which reduces the risk of corrosion. They are designed to be applied using a single spanner or socket. In addition they have a modified range where a “roll down” option allows the clamp to be installed in a smaller than advertised range.

5) Hubcap Rings
We manufacture a wide range of wire or metal band rings, bangles, and clips to hold hubcaps to wheels. These are mainly made to customer specification and we will gladly look at manufacturing to your requirements or offer existing stock solutions to solve your application problems.

6) Sundry Clip and Spring Products
We manufacture a wide range of speciality spring clip products for the automotive and other industries, which include door handle, window handle clips, ash tray springs and various dash board and seat clips.
7) Lead Lights
The Universal Hand Held Lead Light conforms to SABS standards and is manufactured with a 5 meter two core cable. The reflector and cage are zinc plated metal and there for very light and strong. The handle is robust and manufactured from heat resistant plastic. The Bulb fitting is the standard bayonet type. Ideal for use in workshops and garages where a dedicated, but non-permanent light is required .

8) Booster Clamps / Pliers
We manufacture three sizes or battery booster pliers 40, 60, and 120 amps. They are manufactured using high strength springs and high quality plastic handles.
